These are some unreleased songs I worked on with SNOOK aka Mr.OK for an EP that we were supposed to release in early 2000's.
SNOOK is a great producer and MC with some cool flows.
The EP features SNOOK's longtime friend 'TVR' from London.
We also previously did a single called 'Stars' with our friend from Swaziland 'David Scribbles'.
All songs produced by SNOOK aka Mr.OK.
'Looking Back'
Pen pen
I'm penning verses
I never stop speaking
Until I'm dead in hearses
This world absurd
Forget bees and birds
We running around in the system
Where streets wars occur
It seems like
The truths are never heard
Instead the plot thickens
And the porridge is stirred
Which pudding do you prefer
The proof is in the words
But the money got us twisted
Now our vision is blurred
Third world
Thats's where it's gully at
No time for stunting man
No time for dummy chat
They trying to get their tummy fat
You watching on your iMac
CNN
Sky news
Twisted views
Reporting that
So check the map
I'm mapping home truths
We need a world peace treaty
World wide truce
Because the real truth
If everybody want to live
Everybody got to give
Only way to save the kids
'Hands Up'
Ride for my city
Ride for my team
Keep the loved one's close
Sidestep the scene
Mean faces get lean
The streets are far from clean
Fiends on the block
Things are not what they seem
Am I awake
Or am I really dreaming
Because it's seeming
That this world
That's spinning around
Is full of demons
Disbelieving that these heathens
Took our land and let us die
Gunpowder power rules
Money making alibis
So I stay like sellotape
Stick to my people
Keep it local
Keep on learning
Keep on thinking
Keep the peace
Through words and vocals
The universe don't make mistakes
That's why we're all here
We've got to feel grateful
Every year's a good year
Overstand that hate
Is always hand in hand with fear
So we rap it up with love
And watch it disappear
The pen becomes the sword
And knowledge is the key
The powers in the people
We can set us free!
Ride for my team
Keep the loved one's close
Sidestep the scene
Mean faces get lean
The streets are far from clean
Fiends on the block
Things are not what they seem
Am I awake
Or am I really dreaming
Because it's seeming
That this world
That's spinning around
Is full of demons
Disbelieving that these heathens
Took our land and let us die
Gunpowder power rules
Money making alibis

'Look' Featuring TVR
Lift up your hands
Because this ain't no joke
Because we roll with real people
And we roll with real folks
Look Look
They say it's murder we wrote
Because we came through rolling
With the murderous flow
We wake up
And our vision is clear
Give thanks to the universe
We still right here
So we fix up
And turn the keyboard on
We got to twist another rhythm
Got to make another song
The old legends was great
So we finding inspiration
For the new dub plates
Sample the keyboard
Let the kick drums play
Put the filter on the guitar
Put the skank in the bass
Now we rolling again
We feel the brotherly love
Between the family friends
As I scribble down verses
With my KC pen
I feel the rhythm in my veins
I feel my heart pumping
I'm a young old man
Born and raised on the reggae
With the Marley fam'
Black Irishman
Born in London town
But from Kingston Jamaica
Where I'm feeling the sound
'In My City' Featuring TVR
Interstellar thought patterns
Dodging black holes
Dark matter
Light travels
E.T. phone home
Home ain't heaven
Running around roads
Skyscraper
Night vision
Grey clouds
Keep hope
Hope
Keep faith
Keep love
Never give up
Stay strong
Never stop striving
Move quick
Think fast
Get in line
With the arrow of time
Universal timing
Through the mist of abyss
It's hard to see
Now our visions are clouded
By fallacy
Because pennies make pounds
Pounds make sounds
Now money keeps talking
Currency
See it's real to me
Through my mind
And my optics
I can see
This life is slowly killing me
I'm just trying to breathe
Breathe
'Roadz'
I ain't no silly billy
Always clocking the angles
Live in the city
Like a zoo
I'm seeing hungry animals
I'm seeing hungry cannibals
They ain't counting calories here
Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Man get eaten
That's a standard here
So I twist my ear
I'm listening
To see what's really good
Trying to keep up
With the current trend
And find what's good in the hood
Because I see
A lot of love in the hood
But I see
A lot of beef in the hood
You could rise
To the highest heights
Or you could loose your life
In the hood
So we do what's good
And keep on moving
Day to day to day
They say it's ride or die
So crown me as a rider mate
Crown me a survivor mate
And make sure to save me a plate
I'm feeling hungry
Hungry appetite up inside of me
Skip the one two
Skip the four
Skip the eight
I need sixteen more
In fact scratch that
Give me a thirty two
The beat is raw
Give me a thousand bars
And I'll keep going
Until the dawn
Until my people free
It's people power through my jaws
'Stars' Featuring David Scribbles
Unleash the lions
Because I'm ready for a fight
Fight for peace and love
And you know I'm right
Because the systems see through
We all born equal
But treat some of us like animals
And others like people
Every man needs a place
He can feel at home
And every woman needs a place
She can call her own
But they leave us all alone
Hung out to dry
And they couldn't care less
If we perish and die
So we try but we cry
Because the odds are stacked
We keep getting knocked down
But we always come back
Because they can take our freedom
Can't take our spirits
You own your own skin
And your heart beats in it
Your soul has no limits
So know who you are
You are your own God
You are your own star
Universe turns
Burn bright
Kaleidoscope colours
Search for peace and love
For lost sisters and brothers
PEACE LOVE & PEOPLE POWER!
