People investing their assets

Everybody in a dash
Fuelled by the lust for the cash
Like a fresh rash
We itch for the chance to succeed
But we scratch too much
And now we left to bleed
Contemplating human nature
Relating to nature
Creation or destruction
Which is part of our nature
But both are part of our nature
Instinct and survival
Ancient civilisations
Communications be tribal
We stay surrounded by rivals
Money made motivation
Trying to practise pragmatism
And avoid altercations
With these modern day lemmings
One track dedication
Inbred frustrations
Of consumer nations
Only goal to be earning
The whole world could be burning
They turn a blind eye
Just to spend all their earnings
Constantly yearning
But nobodies learning
Society stinks like smoke
From skin that be burning
